In the UK it is estimated that about a quarter of the population will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year. On a wider global scale it is estimated that approximately 450 million people worldwide have a mental health problem.

It would seem then, that a large number of us experience mental health issues.   Good mental health is not about the absence of problems or stressors, rather good or positive mental health is about the way we think and feel and how we deal with ups and downs of everyday life.

Future Focus CIC provides a range of services and interventions that are designed to enable individuals with a mental health problem to explore useful solutions to the difficulties they experience.

These could include:

    • Adult coaching and counselling
    • Physical wellbeing activities
    • Coping and resilience programmes and strategies
    • Use of mindfulness to promote positive mental health
